Wicked Problem Video: Privilege
This video was created for my Wicked Problem assignment in my Honors First-Year Seminar class at Sacramento State University. In this video, I addressed the wicked problem of privilege and how the privileges of freedom and justice are taken away by prejudice. This is a significant project because it forced me to use my critical thinking skills in order to provide a solution to a nearly unsolvable problem. Privilege has many levels, however, it is nearly the same all over the world. People either abuse their privilege or take it for granted, resulting in the decline of those without the same privileges. This project also helped me in working on my analysis skills, as I had to analyze two different philosophers and connect them with my claim.

Online Museum: Just Mercy
This online museum was created for my Online Museum: Just Mercy project in my Honors First Year Seminar class at Sacramento State University. In this project, I worked with three of my peers in order to analyze the American prison system in relation to the book Just Mercy. We focused on issues such as mass incarceration of black men in America, discriminatory actions against prisoners, the monetary value of prisons, and how government and private businesses benefit from mass incarceration. For this project, I mainly focused on the monetary value of prisons portion. As this was my first group project in University, I was able to learn how to organize a schedule and work with others. As I am sure that working with your peers will be essential in the real world, being able to work cohesively with others will be an important skill for my future. This also helped me in improving my research capabilities as I had to look for articles and statistics that relate to my topic and Just Mercy.
